Dirra ("we," "us," "our") is an AI-powered study assistant operated by Diranx Solutions Limited, a company registered in Nigeria. Dirra helps students turn study materials into structured notes, flashcards, quizzes, and practice exams.

We do not collect your real name, date of birth, government ID, or precise geolocation. Your PIN is stored using bcrypt hashing and is never readable by us.
We never sell your personal data. We do not use your uploaded study materials to train AI models.
To generate study content, your uploaded material text is sent to third-party AI service providers for processing (e.g., generating notes, flashcards, quizzes, and content analysis). We may use one or more providers and may change providers at any time.
These providers process your data solely to generate responses for you. They do not store your data for training purposes. Each provider is bound by their own data processing agreements and privacy policies.
If you use Dirra via WhatsApp, messages and documents are processed through a third-party messaging platform provider. Your phone number and message content are transmitted via their infrastructure and are subject to their own privacy policy.
Documents sent via WhatsApp DMs are saved to your web account. Documents sent in WhatsApp groups are not saved to any individual account.
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR), GDPR (for EU residents), and other applicable data protection laws, you have the following rights:

We retain your data only as long as your account is active. When you delete your account:
Dirra is designed for students of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without parental consent. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will delete it promptly. Contact privacy@dirra.app to report concerns.
We use a single session cookie (dirra_session) for authentication. This is an essential, HTTP-only cookie required for the service to function. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party advertising cookies.
Your data may be processed in countries outside your country of residence (including the United States) via our AI processing partners. These transfers are protected by the providers' data processing agreements and appropriate safeguards under applicable law.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email (if provided). Continued use of Dirra after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
